Introduction

A look of satisfaction flitted across the Nigh Elf’s face as she stepped into the small building in Area 52.  She quickly stepped up to the Aldor representatives standing within the building to show evidence of having carried out her orders.  A deep sense of satisfaction filled her for having foiled another of the Legion’s plans, it was made all the more sweet for having worked with her twin to complete the task.  She turned to speak to her sister, her look of satisfaction turned to one of confusion, then shock then outrage as she saw Aleya standing at the next table over, the one belonging to the hated Scryers.

A snarl erupted from her throat, forming into words.

“How in the name of Elune could you betray our parents with THOSE ABOMINATIONS?!”

Aleya blinked and sighed deeply in resignation.

“They are not Abominations, they are working against The Legion as well Sister.”

“They’re bloody HIGHBORN!  They and their kind murdered our parents!”

“They are not what you think…  They accept me, are outcasts like me.”

Merlet sneered at her sister.   “You are outcast by your own choice only.”  She nodded her head at the shocked blood elves standing beside her sister.  “They are filth.  You dare sneer at humans for what Medivh did and then align yourself with them??!”

“Yes I do.  They and I understand one another, we work to destroy th..”

“They are the reason we have spent the last ten thousand years fighting the Legion!  Don’t try to convince me with inane platitudes.  I know what they are, and apparently what you are now.”

With a snarl of rage she spun on her heel and walked out of the building, leaving behind a room full of shocked individuals, and a defeated night elf.  Aleya’s back remained straight, her face a mask betraying no emotion at her twin’s venomous outburst, she nodded to the Scryer agents as she received her next orders and left the building herself.  Outside there was no trace of Merlet, Aleya’s ears twitched slightly as she slipped into the shadows that a rogue called home.
